- Born in Germany,left in 1951 came to Portland,Or.lived there for 7 years and moved to Everett,Wa. and then married my husband Jim and live in Marysville now.I worked at Scott Papar company for 41 yrs.I had two hip replacements since I retired and doing fine. I joined Jenny Craig and have lost 22lbs.so far.Want to loose another 10lbs.

My paternal Grandparents were German Lutheran,very religious people.They lived by the Bible and knew it very well.My Father could quote many long verses because he said his parents made all the children know verses by heart.They had a lot of kids,my father was 10 out of 13,and he was born in 1890.When I was born he was 52 yrs. old.He died when I was 19.The same week that John Kennedy was shot.
